Off Season was founded by a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist who envisioned using the science and evidence-based principles that are the foundation and guiding philosophies of the profession of Occupational Therapy, and use them to assist professional athletes and those closest to them in matters that affect their personal and professional lives.
Occupational Therapists are trained to perform critical thinking to implement their education in the scientific understanding of neuroscience, psychosocial development, activity, environmental analysis, and group dynamics. They combine those skills with problem-solving, creativity, and other skills to make practical, meaningful changes in a person’s life.
As stated by the American Association of Occupational Therapy, “What Matters To You?” not “What’s The Matter With You?”; is the concern and priority of Off Season!
